Geeky Holiday Specials to Watch

When the holidays roll around, most people reach for their go to christmas classics. Home Alone, Rudolph, A Christmas Story…Die Hard…but after a while, those start to get tired. Our love for the classics are rooted in nostalgia, but it’s time for a reboot. I asked the other Grown Ass Adults what their favorite Holiday TV episodes were, so you can have a very Geeky Holiday Season.

Avies: Warehouse 13: Secret Santa- As the Warehouse team prepares to celebrate the holidays in snowy South Dakota, Pete and Myka are called upon to hunt down a malevolent Santa Claus. Meanwhile, in time for Hanukkah, Artie and his estranged father, Isadore Weisfelt reunite after 30 years.

Joe: Eureka: Do You See What I See?- Sheriff Carter and Allison Blake are secretly planning the perfect holiday surprise for their kids. But a mysterious kaleidoscopic wave of color crashes over Eureka, leaving the entire town and its inhabitants animated.

GM: Lost Girl: Groundhog Fae- Bo’s friends are too busy celebrating Yule to notice she’s missing. But when the night starts repeating itself, Bo makes it her mission to stop it. Meanwhile, Lauren and Dyson disagree over a mysterious package addressed to Bo.

Jim: Dr. Who: Christmas Carol- Amy Pond and Rory Williams are trapped on a crashing space liner, and the only way the Eleventh Doctor can rescue them is to save the soul of a lonely old miser. But is Kazran Sardick, the richest man in Sardicktown, beyond redemption? And what is lurking in the fogs of Christmas Eve?

Cloud: Irresponsible Captain Tylor: White Christmas- Christmas Eve is just around the corner and Yuriko decides to see if Tylor would like to spend the holiday with her. Tylor accepts, but quickly finds himself being diverted from his destination by a young boy who is alone on the holiday.

Autumn: Bob’s Burgers: The Last Gingerbread House on the Left- Bob gets involved in a gingerbread house competition with Mr. Fischoeder and his friends while Linda, Teddy and the kids spread Christmas cheer through caroling.
